CARE FOR YOUR CASHMERE
Cashmere is best hand washed and dried flat or, if you are careful (brave) in a washing machine on the WOOL cycle. On initial wearing the short fibres may pill a little, these can easily be picked off.
We prefer to machine wash as the jumper will spring back into shape and the cashmere feels even more luxurious.
We do not recommend dry cleaning. The chemicals do not enhance the feel of cashmere.
Moths are particularly keen on cashmere. We recommend washing you cashmeres and then storing them in air tight bags. If you suffer a moth attack, pop your jumper into a plastic bag and put it in your deep freeze for a week. Our knitwear comes with a small amount of yarn for darning any holes.
