At last you can stitch for your bitch, purl for your persian, lavish your affection and skill on the pet that you love.
Pet Heaven includes an extensive range of designs for almost every imaginable pet: hamsters, cats, horses, pigs, goldfish, budgies, dogs,
tortoises and more. Our patterns range from simple designs which can be knitted by the 10 year old beginner for their new kitten, up to complicated patterns for the knitter in search of an exciting challenge. If you have a menagerie of animals, you can now shower them with handmade accessories. What cat wouldn’t yearn for a mousemat to lounge on? What fourteen year old would not want to knit their pony a personalised blanket? Who wouldn’t want to make a sophisticated and stylish tent for their tortoise to winter in, or a balaclava to protect their dog’s ears from the misery of fireworks?

We intend these patterns to be adaptable. If you don’t have a dog but like the look of the party dog collar, why not make one for your ferret? If your pot-bellied pig would like to lounge on a dog beanbag, why not? As well as providing patterns that you can follow, we would like you to use this book as a basis to invent accessories to suit the particular foibles of your own individual pet. Use it as a source of ideas, don’t feel you have to slavishly follow each pattern. We would like you to change the colours, shapes, customise it in any way you like. Pets come in a vast array of sizes and shapes, use these ideas to make your unique pet it’s own personalised knitted accessory. Finally, even if you don’t have an animal of your own, we wouldn’t want you to feel discriminated against, you can still award yourself a rosette, make a slightly larger beanbag or even knit your very own easy-care companion from our section of knitted pets.
We are offering a small sample of the delights that are on offer in PET HEAVEN, for those who can’t knit or want one extra quick. If you would like one please click on orders.
